Among his key contributions: leading gap analyses and internal audits to surface priority improvements; overseeing infrastructure upgrades and targeted staff training; coordinating evidence readiness across departments; and anchoring team accountability for food safety performance.

Business Unit Head, Cocoa

Vishnu Kakra leads the Cocoa business at Johnvents Group, with 14 years of experience that cuts across finance, operations, and commercial leadership in the agri-commodities sector. He started his career in finance, spending years building deep expertise in financial modelling and analysis, corporate finance, auditing, budgeting, and variance analysis. At ETG, he served as Product Finance Controller, a role that put him at the intersection of procurement, accounts receivable, and new product development for private label and contract manufacturing. That grounding gave him an unusually sharp commercial lens when he moved into broader business leadership. Since then, he has held roles at Olam International and Sastasundar.com before taking on his current position at Johnvents Group, where he oversees the full scope of the Cocoa business, from strategy and market expansion to day-to-day operations. He is known for translating complex financial and operational challenges into clear business decisions, and for building teams and partnerships that deliver results in frontier and emerging markets.

Rogbitan Abdul Bodunde

Traceability Supervisor

Abdul is at the frontline of supply chain accountability, leading traceability implementation and EUDR compliance monitoring across farmers and supply chain actors. His work has meaningfully advanced documentation completeness, certification continuity, and farmer onboarding, bringing greater transparency and responsibility to cocoa sourcing. His contributions include overseeing traceability documentation and monitoring for over 10,000 MT of Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa in the 2024/2025 crop year; supporting the onboarding of EUDR-compliant farmers; coordinating field-level implementation of EUDR requirements; and completing IFC ALP training while cascading capacity building to cooperatives and farmers.
